Jules BRUN, urban transport pioneer in Montpellier
In 1926, Jules BRUN founded the company, delivering perishable goods by cart to the Place de la Comédie in Montpellier. At the time, transport was a daily challenge, and Jules tackled it with discipline and responsiveness.
A Family legacy spanning three generations
His son, René BRUN, took over the reins and later passed them on to Michel BRUN, representing the third generation, who structured the company’s activity in the 1970s around road transport. He modernized the fleet and expanded the local network.
In 2001, Sophie BRUN, Michel’s daughter and great-granddaughter of Jules, took over the leadership of the company. She represents the fourth generation of the family to lead SOTRAB Logistique.
1998: A strategic shift toward retail and logistics
In 1998, the company made a strategic move: it specialized in transport for major retailers and began developing logistics services.
This marked the beginning of a broadened service offering, focused on retail logistics and small to mid-volume clients, who remain at the heart of our business model.

Under Sophie BRUN’s leadership, SOTRAB Logistique has become a local supply chain player in the Gard and Hérault regions of France, while maintaining agility and a tailored approach.
